Meet Claire Whitmore
NeurOptimal® Certified Trainer · Rewire Centre
Claire works with adults, teens, parents, and high performers in Edmonton who are ready to stop managing and start actually changing. Not through harder work — through giving the brain what it needs to do what it is already capable of.
Why I do this work
I spent twelve years as a registered nurse. I loved the work — the pace, the problem-solving, the moments of real human connection. What I did not love was what it was doing to my nervous system.
By the time I burned out, I had tried everything I knew how to try. I was a nurse. I understood the physiology. I knew what stress does to the body. And I still could not figure out how to make it stop.
A colleague mentioned NeurOptimal®. I was skeptical in the way that only someone with a clinical background can be skeptical — I wanted to see the mechanism, understand the research, know exactly what was happening and why.
So I tried it. And after four sessions, I slept through the night for the first time in three years.
I did not do anything differently. My nervous system just found a lower gear on its own. And I realized I had spent twelve years helping people manage symptoms — and here was something that worked at the level where the symptoms actually come from.
I trained with Zengar Institute, left clinical practice, and opened Rewire Centre. I work with people who are exactly where I was — functional, capable, exhausted — and with parents who want something better for their kids, and with high performers who want an edge they cannot get from training or nutrition alone.
I am not the point of this work. Your brain is. My job is just to show up, set up the equipment, and get out of the way.

What it is like to work with Claire
The first thing most people notice is that there is no clipboard, no intake questionnaire, no assessment to complete before you can begin. You arrive, you sit down, and we have a real conversation.
Claire's sessions are calm, unhurried, and specific to you — not because she is following a protocol, but because NeurOptimal® does not use one. There is no diagnosis, no target, no agenda. Just your brain and the information it needs.
Most people leave their first session surprised by how simple it was. That is usually when they book the next one.
